My love for costume making began when I was 14 years old, and started making absolutely terrible quality Doctor Who cosplays. But I was very proud at the time, and ten years later I'm very proud of the journey my entirely self taught skills have had since! I have a particular love for fantasy live action costumes, such as heavily embroidered garments from Game of Thrones, but I also enjoy interpreting video game or even characters from fiction novels, and translating their character into a real life costume. While the majority of my costume work has been personal projects, I've been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work professionally on costume projects with companies such as Netflix, Cartoon Network, Marvel, and video game giant Ubisoft. Below is a selection of some of my favourite costume pieces, featuring embroidery, leatherwork, and even blacksmithing!
