Since 2019 I have gradually been working on my biggest project to date - a replica of the beautiful coronation gown from Game of Thrones. Covered in stunning embroidery by Michele Carragher, I've spent (and continue to spend) literal years painstakingly embroidering over a hundred red leaf appliques, as well as other pieces for the costume, including tiny stumpwork and goldwork wolves, a big 3d wolf head, and a textured embroidered scaled shawl. These pieces feature miles of cotton and silk thread, painful-to-work-with chenille thread, and enough Swarovski beads to bathe in. I hope to complete this project in 2022.
